I'm having the same issues, but PhonicUK's only response is "Firewall/router problems". Definitely annoying since everything else I'm using this server for has no problems connecting (web, ftp, ssh, and multiple minecraft servers).

Make sure you forward port 8080 (or whatever you configured it to) to your IP address in your router settings.

Ping reply from your host is 94.170.14.235 - is that your public IP? If so - did you setup your firewall correctly?

I have mine set up on a public IP.  I had the same issue, but only on IE.  Works fine on firefox.
