Had not heard of bukkit, just read the doc over at hmod forums http://forum.hey0.net/showthread.php?tid=3591

I will have to say that although I am currently dependent on hmod, you are making the right choice.

When will we see MySQL support?  The grand majorty of servers running McMyAdmin are also running hMod.  Various hMod plugins require MySQL.  For example LogBlock, which would have the server fall flat on its face trying to query flatfiles.

I think this should be P1 in terms of future feature support.

It's probably not going to happen, as hMod support will soon be dropped in favour of Bukkit support.
