For some reason, backups (both scheduled and manual) and failing to complete. I've upgradd to the latest version, but the system still seems to be hanging at "Writing archive to disk:
Server specs:
Windows Server 2008 R2
16GB Ram
80GB SSD (with 30+ GB free on the minecraft partition)

I should note, that I began using the "Minecraft Overviewer" system to generate a Google Map, which places images in the "world" folders. Could this be the cause of the problem?

The maps shouldn't be an issue. It only looks for .dat files and backs those up.
I'd check the console output for any warnings or errors. Also set "loglevel=0" in your McMyAdmin.conf to get full info.
If possible though, you should configure your mapper to use the "Public" directory for its output. This would also let other users use it.

Alrighty...here's the output from the error log:
[Error] 1/16/2011 11:06:19 AM Unable to backup world
[Debug] 1/16/2011 11:06:19 AM Exception in Ionic.Zip
The number of entries is 65535 or greater. Consider setting the UseZip64WhenSaving property on the ZipFile instance.

Hmmm..it looks like the periodic world saves are failing as well. I just had a scheduled server restart (which I do every 4 hours to recover memory, and people are complaining about losing a few hours of work.

It's not that large, actually....but I didn't think there was a limit (in fact, we bought this new beefy box just to make sure we wouldn't have one).
Does that mean there is no possible fix? Obviously, we can't run the server if the periodic saves don't even work, much less risking never running a backup.

I can fix it with a change in McMyAdmin. It's weird because I've had 700MB worlds and they've not been as many as 64K files in total.

Full backup looks like it saved successfully. I'll test a periodic backup followed by a reboot shortly.
Thanks!

Ok...periodic saves worked as well - everything was intact after a reboot.
Thank you, good sir - you rock ;-)
